But, It Looked SO Good Online! Pitfalls To Avoid While Virtual Househunting

We have all done it! We're browsing our favorite Realtor's website (melissahall.rhr.com 😎) and you find THE ONE! The house looks absolutely perfect and you have to go see it...like now! You can't understand why this one hasn't been scooped up yet, but you're not going to miss the boat! So, you contact you Realtor and schedule an appointment ASAP. Cue the dark, ominous music...You show up and can't believe this is even the same house! It's sad but true...virtual househunting should only be used as a screening tool not to substitute for actually seeing the home. So, don't fall in love
too soon. That only leads to disappointment. Let's take a look at houseshopping online versus in person so you can avoid heartache in your next home search.

A few additional tips to consider during your online search. As I mentioned before, don't get too attached. In order to get a real feel for the house, you need to see it and experience it in person. Online tours and photos are only accentuating the positive. Another essential is to have a  GOOD Realtor (and consider their professional opinion). As a Realtor, I work hard for my clients and want to make sure they make educated and informed purchases. A good Realtor will point out the positives AND the negatives of a home. Lastly, be patient! Impulse decisions in real estate purchases can cost major dollars. Don't enter into this lightly! Homebuying is a complicated and emotional process, but you can thrive with the right information and tools. Give me a call! I'd love to answer any questions that you may have.

Until next time,
Melissa Hall, Realtor
